For two, delicious weeks, singer Julie Budd brightened our experience by simply saying, “I’d be delighted to join you!” Her perspectives on music in general and the contribution of Mr. S in particular gave us so much to think about. Above all, I found Julie’s sense of unlimited optimism to be contagious. I love being around her joyous spirit.
Here’s a brief sampling of your reaction to our hours…
Enjoyed the broadcast, Julie, especially the Christmas song duet with Mr. Sinatra. Thank you.
I’m a HUGE Julie fan. Great conversation about the record biz, too.
…as the father of a precocious 9-year-old, the discussion of what “prodigy” means was really interesting to me.
The Christmas “mashup” duet thing was very cool.
Great feedback! Have I heard from you? Go to our page , THE SINATRA SONGBOOK, on Facebook. While there, submit a Friend Request, Like our page and, please, share your reactions. Be specific. I read and consider everything you have to say… everything.

We corresponded a lot to develop these two hours. With each note, Julie’s ever-present sign-off was, “Huge thanks”. Works for me.
Julie, HUGE THANKS.
Our recent SONGBOOK Chapters were filled with the voices of Frank’s professional life. This week we rest those voices and focus entirely on performance.
It’s Frank Sinatra at various ages and stages of his career, when we open Chapter Six of THE SINATRA SONGBOOK, Saturday, October 26 at 6pm and Sunday, October 27 at 8am (those are Eastern times) exclusively on Metromedia Radio, (metromediaradio.net).
